Holiday Fashion Trends
There are three things every woman should surround herself with: beauty, romance and glamour. This Holiday season, top designers not only acknowledged and embraced these must-haves, but translated them into some of the most captivating designs we have seen to date. So, let us indulge you with the latest top three trends in all things beautiful -
Our first trend is women taking over menswear and making it look simply chic. By adding subtle hints of femininity such as shimmering fabrics, plunging necklines and cropped finishes, we are making this trend all our own. Keep in mind, this trend is worn best in stark contrasting colors such as black and white for the classic fashionista. For those looking to really glam up this trend, jewel tone green and bordeaux are sure to garner some fashion envy. This trend is best paired with choker necklaces featuring sultry colors to add a hint of romance. If you are more of a silver lover, one of these pendant necklaces would be a gorgeous complement. If you are looking for a touch of gold, hammered pieces like the ones shown keep things feminine and crisp.
Our second focus is on a woman’s right to be bold. It is an absolute play on colors and the result is simply fantastic. Ladies, this is not the time to be shy. Be confident when mixing blocks of bright colors and patterns. Have fun whether it is rocking a bold blue blazer with a green top and a black pencil skirt or stepping out in an all-over red dress with a black block of color down the front. Keeping with the playfulness of this trend, your accessories should be the same. Bright, exuberant colors, exemplified with these bracelets; earrings bold and lively! Single or double drop earrings like those shown here would be a great way to go here. If you’re feeling a bit daring, chandelier earrings would look splendid.
Finally the single most underlying trend of the Holiday Season is a return to 60’s glamour. Whether it was polka dot prints, psychedelic furs or mod inspiration, it was all front and center. Think of the days of Twiggy, Audrey Hepburn and Brigitte Bardot. These three fashion icons had completely different style with their commonality being the 60’s era. It’s time to embrace that all over again with floral prints, oversized coats and slim fitting pants. For a more feminine play, get out your flirty dresses with long bell sleeves and floating hems. Yes, the 60’s are back but with a contemporary twist. You can make this trend your own by mixing modern, yet simple pieces such as these single and double strand necklaces. Pair it with some hoop earrings and you’ve got the perfect way to be instantly updated.
This season is all about the fabulous fashions, but accessorizing them is what truly brings them to life. It’s not about whether your accessories match your outfit, but rather does your outfit match your accessories. Move aside fashion, this Holiday, the accessories may have just changed the game and the name of the game is W/A studios.
